Update: 03/06/2012

Hi

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on Dad:

As you know, Dad made it back home a few weeks ago and was gradually getting stronger physically and emotionally day by day. He was walking on his own (with a little help from his walker, of course) and staying farely active around the house. However the past few days have been a little challenging. Even though Dad was able to overcome the low blood pressure, pnuemonia and being sedated for several weeks, he still has the cancer to fight. I'm sad to say that today his health took a turn for the worst. Mom has called Hospice and everything to do with that process will begin tomorrow. We will have a clearer understanding of the situation by tomorrow evening.

Please understand that we enjoy your visits...however...we would like to ask that no visitors come by the house for the time being. We will try to keep the blog updated as much as possible. If there comes a time where Dad is back to a position to see visitors, we will let everyone know via the blog. If you would like to find out info on ways to be of help to the family (besides your ever important and needed prayers) please contact Connie Anderson via phone at 936-597-8452 or via email at danderpad@consolidated.net.

Please pray that:
Dad's body will grow strong
His emotional stamina will strengthen
To give wisdom to the Hospice workers and physicians tomorrow

If you have any questions, you can post them on the blog or send me an email at toddfrazier09@gmail.com. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.

Till next time...

  2. Hey Coach Frazier,
This is Mike Jackson and two years ago I played basketball for you with HCYA. I wanted you to know that the ideas, desire to work hard, and persistence you taught me over those months have never left me. You helped shape me into who I am today and who I will become. I have kept you in my prayers for as long as we have known each other and I continue to pray for you. I know that this time in your life is difficult but the Lord is using you. You are his and he has a perfect plan for you. Sorry I never got to take your worldview class, seeing as I am graduating, but I really wish I had. So again I want to express my thanks for you and your family and for the great influence you were on my life. (Even the countless times that you threw the bag of basketballs at Justin for being late haha) I will always have fond memories of that year and of our time together. I hope to be able to see you soon and please know that my family and I are always praying for you.
    With Love and In Christ
    Mike Jackson

  3. Mr. Frazier ,
I wanted to thank you for the impact you have had on Aaron and Bryan . Their whole life will be different because of you and world view. They have taught me so much that they have learned through your lessons. As a mom it means everything that they had this time with you. I know they will make you proud someday. I know you want to go home to Jesus , but selfishly ..I have one more kid left , we still need you!!
I am praying for peace, comfort and a miracle .
Much love from a very grateful mom,
    Gwenn Townsend

  4. Mr. Frazier,
With out WV, I don't know how I would have have survived my first couple years of homeschooling. You defiantly have won the best teacher award. I can't even lie to say that you were my favorite. I'm praying for you, knowing that either way things turn out, Jesus has you. Thank you for helping me build my faith in Christ.
    Love,
    Charlotte

  6. Mr. Frazier,
I just wanted to thank you for how much you've taught me the past few years whether it was about history or the Bible. You have a unique way of teach that inspires knowledge and not just learning. Worldview is and always will be my favorite class because of you. I am privileged to know you and to have gotten to call you my teacher. You and your family will be in my prayers constantly.
    Love,
    Megan H
